It's Friday!

My hope is to have a little time to at least look at publishers and get an rough outline together today. As usual, I have a calendar packed back to back! I am going to take Sally's advice and spend a minute scheduling in some writing time. If I don't do that, this book is never going to happen!

Small actions like scheduling have big sonsequences downstream!-- that whole butterfly flapping its wings in South America thing.
Kudos on scheduling!

I agree. If I hadn't scheduled this blog club for 15 minutes 4 days/wk, I would not be squeezing any writing time in between grading, meetings, everything now that my other deadline passed.

Scheduling on my calendar is what I need to do in addition to the committment I posted on the blog and mental note.

I'm not up on regular blog reading protocol, so I'm answering an earlier comment you left on my blog here. I had been keeping up with everyone else's latest things on my dashboard or update page, or whatever it was, but hadn't checked in since my last post to read comments on my early posts.

Anyway, yes. I'll send you a copy of the chapter to read and would be happy to be a judge at the student conference in Feb.

Also, you will be interested in my new project which argues that a good role for writing centers is as information resources for undergrad publishing opportunities across the disciplines, especially at schools that don't have offices of undergrad. research. It takes the basic ideas of my last article but expands them to cross-disciplinary venues and specifically targets writing centers as a likely dissemination point for this info.
